Cost checklist: find the whole price

Before you pay Plain-language handbook

The short version

As of September 2026, there is no approved U.S. thymosin alpha-1 product, so there is no U.S. maker list price or government price to report.

Any U.S. price quote applies to a product made to order by a pharmacy, brought in from abroad, or labeled for research, rather than an FDA-approved thymosin alpha-1 medicine.

Ask for one written total

  • Is the first visit included?
  • Is there a recurring membership charge?
  • Is the medicine included or billed separately?
  • Are tests, shipping, supplies, and follow-up included?
  • Does the price change with the preparation or refill timing?
  • What can be refunded if care does not move forward?
  • How is cancellation handled?

Separate price from proof

A high price does not prove quality. A low price does not prove fraud. The useful checks stay the same: exact preparation, named clinician, named pharmacy, written total, and clear follow-up.

FDA consumer guidance treats a price that seems far below the rest of the market as a warning sign to examine alongside other problems.

Keep the quote readable

Save the page or message that states what is included. Compare the same length of time and the same services. Do not set a low first-month offer beside another service’s normal monthly price.
